Darryl Albert, born in Elliot Lake, Ontario, spent many years in Montreal. This promising new Watercolourist, now making his home in Victoria, has been enjoying and exploring the nature and serenity that is British Columbia. Darryl's work reflects this beauty, capturing the tranquility and nature of the West Coast with fresh eyes.

Darryl's artistry in many media is self-taught. His use of vibrant colour was influenced by the Chinese Watercolour artist Ming Ma, whom he studied under for 2 years. Darryl has found a medium where his attention to detail can be pursued within the playful spontaneity of watercolour.
